Stop Smoking
A typical stop smoking session will last about 11/2 2 hours
and is a one-off session. There are no side effects and you will
be completely in control throughout the session.
We
know that smoking is a habit and that stopping is beneficial to
health but this can be difficult. Even when we decide to stop smoking,
there can still be doubts and anxiety associated with stopping.
A thorough case history of your smoking habits will be taken. There
is plenty of time to discuss any concerns you may have about hypnosis,
acknowledge your reasons for smoking in the first place and confirm
your reasons for wanting to stop now. Progress can only be made
once you feel totally comfortable and at ease.
There will be a period of hypnosis during which you will experience
a very relaxing trance, when you have the opportunity to 'switch
off' your smoking habit and remember how easy it is to be a non-smoker.
It does this while helping you to feel calm and relaxed in the situations
where you used to smoke. It also boosts your willpower to ensure
that you can stop in the most appropriate way for you. Commonly
feared side-effects such as cravings, weight gain and irritability
will also be addressed. At the end of the session you feel refreshed,
positive and ready to make a fresh start.
It's
important to stress that you have to want to give up smoking for
the therapy to work, rather than just thinking that you should give
up. If you are not committed then you would just be wasting your
money. My stop smoking therapy is extremely effective, but it's
not magic. However, if you want to give up smoking you will
be able to stop.
